    Default Floor coating

    Hi All, just been to look at a kitchen floor which requires tiling 14.5m2 but where they have had hard vinyl tiles on the floor it has left the black adhesive which was used - looks sound and pretty flat am i ok to tile on top of this or does this require removing?

    in reality you should remove as much of the old adhesive as you can, a steamer with a floor scraping blade should help, prime prime and prime my good man

    hi as above remove as much as possible sometimes a rozor sharp paint scraper works well take care
