Default Is bonding agent still required after tanking?

    Good afternoon all.

I am tiling my sisters ground floor, walk in shower for her.

The 3 walls are old plaster and the floor is concrete screed. I believe these surfaces would normally require a bonding agent prior to tiling.

Am I right to tank the area and, if so, do I still need to use a bonding agent after the tanking.

    Thanks for any advice.

    Cheers Si
