    Question Grout Question

I bought some BAL Wide Joint Flexible grout. I was intending to use it on the floor only, using 3mm spacer.

Since then I have also tiled the wall as well (have not grouted the floor yet)

My question is can I use the same grout to grout the floor and the wall.

My only concern is that on the bag it says for tile spaces 3mm and above, my walls are 2mm. I do not want the wall grout to crack afterwards or go off in some way ( i have spent 3 days tiling the wall)

    Any comments would be helpful

    Thanks

Haven't used Bal wide joint grout for a while but from memory it's quite 'course and grainy' once dry. Not sure on the exact technical make up/reasons but suspect this has something to do with why its not recommended for smaller joints. You'd be better off with with Bal microflex or similar - gives a much smoother finish.

Yes Bal Wide joint grout Is quite Coarse, Be careful as it may scratch a soft glazed wall tile

Thanks for both the comments, I think I will use a grout specifically made for wall tiles rather than use the Bal Wide Joint one
