Discuss is it ok to mix products from different brands in the Tile Adhesive, Grout and Substrate Preparation at TilersForums; what i mean is say the grout from weber and the adhesive from bal and the tanking from mapei. ( this is only an example) will this be ok to ...

    Default is it ok to mix products from different brands

    what i mean is say the grout from weber and the adhesive from bal and the tanking from mapei. ( this is only an example)

    will this be ok to do, because im trying to stay with the top brands but find the cheapest solution.

    Also have anyone heard of tile choice and if so what brands do they do??

    Fine to mix brands but beware that some comps will only guarantee one product if you use one of the others, EG mapai told me the other week that there wetroom former is only gauranteed with their tanking kit and that they couldnt provide the same gaurantee if the bal tanking was used.

    i do also!

    if the jobs done properly there shouldn't be a need for a product match guarentee
    alcohol-the cause and solution to all of lifes problems
