We need more information than that. What grout was it and what was the substrate before tiling?

I have used BAL Microflex in my bathroom. I tiled onto existing plaster, some areas had tiles removed before re tiling (i cleared the old adhesive) other areas had plaster repairs undertaken before application of the new tiles, other areas were onto existing painted plaster walls that had not been tiled before.

The yellow areas are patchy, this has not effected the grout as a whole.

would think you used a dispersion adhesive and the adhesive wasn't dry and the water is coming through the grout normally when the adhesive is to thick is that a good guess lol :Pete

Yes Pete. The walls were not completely flat so in some areas i had to apply more grout in order to achieve a flat finish. Is there an easy fix for this problem?

    a few questions
where is the grout discolouring and in what areas, how long and what was used to make the repairs and how long before the tiles where fixed, when you say painted plaster was this tiled on , if so what prep did you do to this area if any,
    regards

Looking at the discolouration it certainly looks like it's in the areas i had to use more adhesive so i think this is what i'm looking at. It's been a few weeks since i grouted and i did leave to adhesive a few days to dry before grouting. Obviously not long enough seeing as the weather hadn't warmed up and i removed the radiator to refit

I will consider raking out and re grouting in the dodgy areas but in the meantime, would a grout pen cover sufficiently well for a nice finish? Seeing as the yellow isn't incredibly noticable without close scrutiny.
