What Adhesive and Grout
Hi all, i hope your all having a good evening, i just have a few small question, i am tiling a shower, and i have had the room plasterboarded and plastered about 2 weeks ago, i was just wondering do i need to prime the new plaster...
What adhesive is best to use?
Which grout?
Where do i get this stuff from in Hampshire
Do i need primer?
What primer?
How long do i need to let the primer dry if i do need it?
Many thanks

The plaster and porous biscuit help the adhesive loose moisture....along with exposure to air...

You may want to consider tanking the walls!
I always prime new paster walls to contain the dust and allow the moisture in the adhesive to grip both surfaces. The primer type should be discussed at point of sale with adhesive choice.
In Hampshire I would have gone to Tanrae tiling 34 years ago but now I suppose its Topps. Now in the North East you've got .............
