right advice?
Just priced a bathroom 600x300 ceramic, tiles and adhesive already on site, tile shop had supplied dunlop tubbed addy.
I recommended this be changed to cement due to the size of tile, was this the correct or is there tubbed stuff that can be used on larger tile(I know how they both dry) just want to make sure as it was the supplier I always use.

Re: right advice?
all tubbed stuff informs you on the bucket that it isn't to be used with tiles over 300 x 300mm! anything larger has to go up with cement based adhesive!

Re: right advice?
i've had to explain this to the staff in my local as they sell customers tubbed gear for large format tiles, but they took comments on board and are starting to sell them powdered gear!

Re: right advice?
CTD in Norwich have recommended tubbed adhesive to me for 18" x 12" tiles on two occasions and when querying it they swore it would be fine as they were ceramic on to plasterboard. I ignored them and went elsewhere for cement based adhesive as I have far more faith in the advice I've found on here.
