Tile Adhesive, Grout and Substrate Preparation at TilersForums;
So, I've tanked the shower, used flexible floor adhesive for both tanking and tiling and now need to know which grout to use to ensure I don't get the water ... -

Sons is showers.....less said the better...
...........
Anyway..you have tanked..so ingress is not a problem now....You just need a good polymer modified grout ( flexible) with anti bacterial properties.....
Mapei ultra colour plus has bio block and water drop effect ...excellent for showers...

I like Mapei Ultracolour plus (lots of colours), if you can get it where you are, or Ultra Premium Fine grout (1-12mm) is good, too. Both suitable for swimming pools! If you got to the tile shop just say it's for a bathroom/shower and they'll see you right...

I would use mapei ultra colour but measure the water and powder, follow the instructions to the tea.

Re: Which type of grout should I use????
PS: As to a sealer afterwards, not everyone on here agrees, but I have used the Seal Guard spray for quite a while now and used it in my shower area, too, as depending on the ventilation in your shower area the bits of soap and shampoo and just plain damp dust and dirt encourages mold growth on any grout. Seal Guard is a penetrating sealer that helps stop anything, including water, settling on/in the grout. Easy to use aerosol, just spray on from half an hour after grouting onwards, (the grout happily dries with it on and dries clear on the tiles) - and run! It's strong smelling stuff, keep the window open, but the smell settles quickly and it's NOT supposed to be carcinogenic. Afterwards you don't need strong bathroom cleaners, just a damp cloth or towel, or a weak washing up solution at most. Saves you lots of hassle later on.
