Hi all,

I am about to purchase some Mapei Keraquick adhesive to tile my bathroom floor and walls.

The total floor coverage is approximately 8 metre sq.

The total wall coverage is approximately 17 metre sq.

I also need to allow for a Dura WP membrane that I need to lay prior to tiling.

Can anyone tell approximately how much adhesive I need to buy?

Also can this adhesive be used to stick Hardie backer 500 to solid walls or do I need to use something else.

The adhesive is fine for all what you want it to do and you will get about 4 to 5 mtrs a bag.......

I would buy 6 (six) bags of kerraquick for your job.

If you find that you need more then you can always buy more.

Also as Dave says, Yes its fine for what you are doing.

if walls and floor are good and level it will be usual to allow three metres to six metres per bag depending upon size of tiles,
Rule of thumb : bigger tiles and uneven walls and floor use more adhesive
