how long before using a shower
I know there is a thread about this somewhere but can't find it. Just finished my en-suite, 330 x 250 ceramic with natural stone border, tanked, spf adhesive and bal microflex 2mm grout lines, on finished plaster. Bal say grout should be left for 2 weeks before use in a shower, does anybody have a view on this, seems a long time??

Re: how long before using a shower
I had the same problem until i found mapei ultracolor grout which is super fast curing and shower can be used after just two days. had no problems at all other than the pot life is only about ten mins so you have to be quick. if you've already done it this may not help but if it's very urgent you could re do it.

Re: how long before using a shower
I tend to recommend what the manufacturers say on the bags. This covers me and its only a recommendation, if the client does otherwise, its at their risk!!
