    Default bonding ufh insulation to tiles or not?

    Hi,going to be laying ekoboard with ufh & slate tiles in my kitchen which has a concrete floor with secure glazed tiles.I would be grateful if someone could advise me if the ekoboard can be bonded to the tiles or if i will have to lift them.The adhesive getting delivered with the slate is granfix fastset flexi & granfix acrylic bonding agent,any help appreciated thanks.

    That adhesive isn't suitable for tiling over glazed tiles...You will need an S2 grade adhesive to tile over glazed tiles...

    To get the best long lasting results then lift the old tiles and re-prep the floor to suit...
