bar tiling in Spain
Hello All,
I am ripping up 80sqm of tiles in my newly purchased bar in Malaga, i have had quotes from handymen but the tiler i have always used has moved back to the UK, however i have done my house in England before so i need a refreshes course.
After ripping them up i will need to get all the dust away and then screed it so the floor is level? then mix the adhesive and lay the tiles correct so far? then leave alone for 24 hours and then grout, is that correct, thanks for your help.

Re: bar tiling in Spain
Basically yes but more info would be needed. Drying times differ with different products.
Some adhesives can be grouted after 2-3 hours but that depends on other factors.
So if you would like to give more info then i am sure you will get much more feedback and Welcome to the TilersForums

Re: bar tiling in Spain
You have so little knowledge of floor laying, and this is for a commercial premises. The tiled floor will be broken up far too soon unless it is correctly laid. Unless it is really not possible I would encourage you employ a tiler to do the work, for your own benefit in the medium to longer term. Doing repairs or wholesale renewel of a floor is going to cost your business and be an aggravation.
