Bal multiflex white grout
hello, looking a bit of advice on washing bal multiflex white grout, having real trouble with cleaning it off properly, im finding that if we dont dust it down the same day the residue is extremly hard to remove. also we're having to give it 2 or 3 washes and because we're using mosaic effect tiles, this can sometimes pull the grout out. have any of you ever came across this problem?? any tips for more effective cleaning?? thanks

If you don't mind my asking, why don't you clean it off straight after you've grouted?
'Mosaic effect' tiles still have the same grout lines as normal tiles, no?

sorry grumpy meant microflex.
we do wash it off straight away and finding really hard to wash, checked we were mixing properly cold clean water, etc. its the dusty scum that appears wen the grout drys out thats really hard to get off. the joints on the mosaic effect tiles are only about 2mm deep so with constant washing sometimes can pull out. any ideas? or just a bad batch of grout??

Re: Bal multiflex white grout
Eamonn, mix the grout stiff and only grout about 2 or three metres at
a time. When washing keep the sponge as wet as possible and
you will find the tiles much easier to wash and you will leave very little
scum on them.

Re: Bal multiflex white grout
if you mean that its the residue build up after the grout has had a chance to cure(but not fully cured) say about 1 hour and if you run your hand across and the dust is on your hand then wipe from the top downwards with a dry clean towel works every time for me.
