    Default Ultra

Had a rep pushing Ultra stuff just after Christmas.

Got a few freebies and tried it out. Quite nice stuff.

Ordered 12 bags of Proflex SP today.....delivered within an hour.

Supposed to be equivalent to Benfer leaderflex (which is good stuff) keraquick and ardex flex 5000.

    Anybody tried it?????

I got given a bag of Proflex SP to trial and thought it was okay. Only problem I have is that I have to order Ultra by the pallet load to get a good deal as I have no local stockist.

I liked the self leveller and tubbed stuff too, so may change my ordering habits.

I used to use Ultra before CTD opened near me about 8 yr back and started to use BAL.

Ultra is not bad......But really i have been using Mapei adhesives and this is really impressive gear and it has steared me away from what was once my trusted brand bal....mapei is alot better to use , longer pot lifes and still good setting times and a better bond/coverage than bal IMO...

Getting back to Ultra col....it is good adhesive and if you get a good price, go for it..

Have used before, as Dave said, pot life does not seem to be as long as Mapei equivalent
