    It is better to tile onto without it being skimmed...takes more weight!

    another good thing tiling straight onto plasterboard a more level finish aswell if your not very good at skimming

    better to use square edge boards than taper edged boards imo

    I'm so fed up of doing jobs for bulders that skim over the plasterboard! They take a perfectly flat peice of board and make it useless!!

    if you use plaster board adhesive instead of bonding it only takes 3 hours to set.

    Should'nt be using thistle bonding for the boards, if that what was meant
