    Default Tiling at night

Was in my local corner shop the other day and commented on the floor which had just been partly tiled not much, anyway mentioned i did tiling and next day the owner rings me and asks if i can finish off as they didn't like the way the tiler was going about the job so he was sacked. Shop owner wants it done at night so it'll dry in time so he can open the shop at 9am so i'm doing 9 till 00-00/ 01-00am just a bit at a time.Had to drop my price a bit but he's has another shop and wants me to look at that for march/april time. Shop owner says he hopes this will be a long term thing,he's asian so friends relatives etc. i'm hoping. Wife's friends husband did some decorating for an asian shopkeeper was snowed under with work after that from people he knew because of resonable prices and taking payment in cash. Not the best hours for me but work's very scarce for me atm so needs must.

I used to tile a large bookmakers shops a few years ago. All over the country i travelled and it all had to be done during the hours of 10pm to 8am. It always worked out though that i finished about 4am- 5am.
As stated in previous posts that the noise could be a problem as most of the shops i did had flats above and i had to keep the noise down.
I quite liked the working hours myself but each to their own.

Rad just lay full tiles 1st night and then mark any tiles that need cut in wetsaw. Cut them through the day and you'll save time as well on job. Just dry cuts and laying.
