Re: which adhesive?
Get a piece of tile and put a mark on it with a permanent marker pen, leave it a minute then try and wipe it off with your finger, if it stays / stains then seal if not dont.

when you removed the vynal tiles was it ply sheeted,if so then you are right about removing the glue and using flexi-addy,just make sure there is enough screws throughout the plywood!
take your time and good luck!

Re: which adhesive?
hi guys, thanks. the tile is not polished. the floor already has a thick ply overlay. the glue will be an absalute nightmare to try and remove wich is why i was wondering if i could just use a flexi over the top. its glue that was spread onto the wood not glue from the tiles. help. im due to start soon.
thanks guys.
