hi, when boarding out a floor with ply do you, usually take out the toilet and sink?
Only asking because i was thinking it would be awkward to cut ply round the fixtures.
Also if the pipes go into the wall how would you combat this as putting ply down will lift the floor thus the pipes will not be in their original place. All help much appreciated thanks.

when possible you can remove the bathroom fittings,there should be a little flex in the toilet bend to allow it to be put back without any serious trouble!

what about the sink if the pipes are already cut unto the wall and cannot be moved,thanks for the reply pal

take all fitting out,is it copper pipes or flexi-hoses going into the wall?

In a perfect world whip the lot out davey (is this a customers house, price might be a factor) but check first what the increase in height is going to do your fittings. Wash basin height, flexis not a problem, if in copper, fit an isolator valve to add height. Traps can be bought with adjustable heights. Pan connectors can be brought with an offset in.

Its basically my brothers house, im not over familiar with the different pipes that are fitted to sinks , toilets. Their just white plastic pipes that go into his wall from the sink waste hole, and the toilet i suppose a flexi pipe can be bought. . if the pipes are of the copper kind coming up from the floor, obviously where the water comes from can extenders be bought to lengthen the pipe?
