Sealing slate and adhesive bed query
Hi all
Two questions and would value your thoughts.
Have been asked to look at a large slate bathroom floor regarding sealing that was laid 6 months ago. From what i gather it's been grouted,in use but was never sealed by the previous tiler.
I am planning to use Lithofin slate seal. Will i need to use a cleaner before applying and which do you suggest also is it fine for the sealer to cover the grout
Secondly, what thickness bed will it be when using a normal 10mm trowel and 15mm notched large format depth trowel
Thanks
Kev
