Re P4 I see the little black says 'pourable' Dave (like a leveller, it says) Do you use it runny or as the norm. (Got some 600 sq porcelain coming up)

John........PTB....is pourable thick bed.......can also be used as a leveller but expensive way of doin it..lol...

Yes you do mix it wetter than normal......towel with your SB trowel and fix....it sort of levells under the tile creating a solid bed.....but when mixed thicker can be used to greater depth.....PJC uses ptb adhesives a lot......i have used them occasionaly but tend to manage with standard bed adhesive as i prep well before hand...

What was the reason for changing to palace?
Is Dunlop not the same as BAL anyway?

Not loyal to any one brand, any single part rapid flexi and what ever CTD can offer me leveller wise. This floor (hidden by vinyl at the moment) has a couple of 'lumps wich look suspiciously like pipes but we will have to wait and see

I have a similar floor to do in Durham. Not sure about what adhesive is safest to use. Any thoughts?
