    Default Tubbed adhesive on mosaics?

Just a thought. It seems that I don't have much of a choice with regard to adhesive, apart from BAL mosaic at around £30 inc vat. That's the price from CTD, with my discount!

However they are doing white star on promotion at the moment (Plymouth store only). As the mosaics are going to be in wet areas I felt that this was perhaps a good move.

    Hi
Tubbed - try Mapei Mapegrip plus or powder wise try Mapei Adesilex P10
It has been developed for bonding glass mosaic and it may be more cost effective.

Add Isolastic liquid if using glass mosaics in a swimming pool environment

The P10 has been mentioned here before. I would love to consider Mapai but CTD in Plymouth don't stock it

I would prefer to use Mosaicfix if it was me Hugo. They look similar to some that I fixed that were from B&Q. Mosaic fix would deffo be set the next day, White star being air drying may take a little longer if the substrate isn't very porous. White Star is a pain to clean off anyway.

That still sounds a bit high, but I'll go check back through some old invoices.
I've got 2 borders around the bathroom that I'm doing this week with those exact same mosaics. Customer bought them off ebay! They're on a paper background and really thin compared to normal ceramics.

These are around 8mm thick, and yes they are on a paper background.

I don't know what your customer paid for them but they cost us £1.40 per sheet plus delivery. They may have bought them from the same seller we did.

Thanks for the tip about Topps David. I'll give them a bell.
