    Default PVA or acrylic primer

    Hi im a new member ive been tiling for nearly 3 years and learning all the time. I have a question, ive always acrylic primed walls and floors before tiling, but some people say PVA is just as good and others say its not what is the correct one to use and why cheers Mick (foxman)

    The trouble is some adhesive manufactuers still sell p.v.a as a primer for tiling purposes and some diy retail outlets also sell waterproof pva as primer and admix so it will continue to be a bone of contention for some time to come

    if it says poly vinyl acetate on the tub, leave it on the shelf!!

    would that mean it was PVA Doug ha ha ha,what if it said poly vinyl adhesive on the tub
