    Default pva/painted walls

    hi all
    got a bathroom to do about 20m on the walls ,the customer has pva and lightly undercoat all the walls, i have said they should just have left the plaster bare, whats the plan of attack now, can i score all the walls, or has it got to be removed and how , cheers guys Neil.

    And charge them well for your time. I would agree a day/hourly rate for this type of work before you start.

    I use a paint scraper and a wall paper steamer a lot less dust imo,

    Emulsifying pad, and wash it off......easier to just to sand it though...

    either a DA (dual action) sander with 80 grit disc,or a wallpaper steamer and scraper
