    Nice one, thanks.

Never tiled before. Can you confirm this would be right?

Use cememt based adhesive rapid set, using this to fill in the pipe chase for shower and to fill in part of the wall showing cement wall under old plaster.

I will ensure plaster is sound by tapping on it to check for hollow sound and any bits that crumble.

Cover any areas with the above adhesive to ensure flat surface for full wall. Apply bonding, small area at a time, ensure it's all set then start tiling??

Sbr can be used for priming when using cement based adhesives but don't apply it neat on gypsum walls.....it will just peel away when dry......water it down..4 parts water to 1 part sbr...or just buy BAL apd and give it 2 coats neat...

I'd advise that you use a standard set for the actual tiling(flexi) malc, unless you have decent sized areas that don't require cuts, you could end up with a tubful of set adhesive! Good luck
