Hi guys, do you need to prime new plasterboard, the reason being i would usually use an acrylic primer, but having read conflicting story's on this site am just wondering ... -

Hi guys, do you need to prime new plasterboard, the reason being i would usually use an acrylic primer, but having read conflicting story's on this site am just wondering as some say no need? thanks

it,ll be tubbed mate, not sure of the make at the moment as theyve already bought it( not a good start eh) a thought that was best but just joined this forum and seeing all the diffrent ideas get,s your thinking, thanks for the reply

Its not needed if using tubbed gear but some people still do.

or, if using larger tiles, I go with primer and a good spf white addy.
