How old is it? If it's very recent, I'd say faulty application, but if it's older than a few days, I'd say you have a damp problem.

Efflo can be quite tricky to get rid of, especially if there is a deeper problem than faulty application. There are acidic cleaning products out there which can, atleast partially, remove efflo, but if there is an underlying problem, the efflo will probably return.

Efflorescence can be remedied using Aqua Mix Eff Ex. Firstly the cause needs to be determined any chance of some more details

Hi Andersontiling, what material do you have behind the tiles? What adhesive/grout did you use.Is the water Hard or soft(white bits in Coffee).Efflorescent is normaly caused by salts in the material. I hope you dont have a guarantie problem!!

    Hi Andersontiling,
kerraflex and gg114 are they from Mapie? I´ve heard a few complaints with Efflourence and Mapie, I personaly would not use it. What is behind the tiles, Plaster, cement render or Plasterboard? When it is Plasterbord or Plaster everything points to Adhesive/Grout/water.I use Ardex mainly and have never had an Efflourence problem
