Black grout / epoxy grout question in the
Tile Adhesive, Grout and Substrate Preparation at TilersForums;
I've just tiled my Kitchen worktops with black starburst granite tiles and it looks great, however I want to finish it off with Black grout. Do I need to use ... -

if the tiles are on the worktop you should use an epoxy, use bal easypoxy as its good to work with. if the tiles are on the wall as a splashback, use bals microflex grout...

Thnaks for the suggestion, Had a look online and can't see Bal easypoxy in black (just white grey or ivory)- do you know where I can get this in black

Laticrete is another maker of epoxy grout "Spectralock" it is called. They do a black. Nice grout to use (For an Epoxy). It aint cheap though.

What type/make would you recommend?
(Spacers are 1mm, tiles have a chamfered edge)

I would use a black epoxy resin but I think I would bring it up flush to the surface and hide the rectified edges.
