Travis Perkins Waterproof Tile Adhesive
Before I saw the light and BAL etc I had bought a tub of Travis Perkins Waterproof Tile Adhesive for a previous tiling job. It worked very well.
I now need about half a tub of tile adhesive (small ceramic tiles), and have about half a tub of this adhesive, still perfectly good.
The tiles to go up are NOT in a shower area and hence will not come into contact with water spray. Do you reckon I'll be OK, or do I need to go and get some more BAL?
Thanks

Re: Travis Perkins Waterproof Tile Adhesive
If it's a D1 adhesive then its not waterproof.
If you have half a tub left, it's a dry area, and you like using it, then go ahead.
Waste not want not.

BAL never advertises a waterproof adhesive!!
But like the others say stick to BAL they dont tell fibs like your local big brand DIY stores!!

No, but other retailers would

Re: Travis Perkins Waterproof Tile Adhesive
IMO there's nothing wrong with this product, in fact I used it to tile above a bath with shower over.
It's just that I've become a little paranoid about 'lesser products'.
I just wondered what your thoughts were, and whether anyone had had bad experiences with TP tile adhesive.
