Depends how rapid you want? I use Biscem quite a lot due to the availability. Bal is good too but my dealer doesnt stock it and nearest dealer is too expensive.
I tried some Mapei at the weekend but was very slow setting compared to Biscem in the same conditions.
Like everything its what you get use too.

Ardex X7R is very good too. You might want to check out Ardex's latest range of Microtec adhesives. I have never used them but you can grout some of them after 1 1/2 hours apparently.

So if you see a offer from a different branch to yours, that you like. Would you be able to ask your local CTD to match it?![]()
Keraquick is £10.50 at Yortile in Leeds.....cheaper than CTD

i think the best on the market is PCI nanolite rapid
PCI Nanolight® Rapid
deanotile (14-10-2008)

I use it sometimes - find it cheap and works well. Although sometimes I find it a little too rapid for my slow style
So then I prefer the Weber Thick Set. Same/similar properties, but slower setting and has the benefit of being able to cope with laying it on thick, for uneven surfaces.

pci nanolight for me in white or grey _ superb![]()

On a more serious note, i finally got round to using the Bal Supercover kindly given to me by CTD (cheers Gaz) to sample, it was excellent, easy to mix, easy to trowel, top stuff.![]()
is bal supercover flexible?
