    Default problem grouting up to skirting

    need some advice did a job they wanted me to tile up to skirting when i finished grout was up skirting didnt look to good any tips on how to keep skirting from discolouring and needing painting!

    If the skirtings are to be varnished or stained or painted it is better done first to protect it from the grout and water staining it....

    agree with both best to paint/varnish first then use masking tape or wash off before it sets.or take them off tile and re apply
    FAT PEOPLE ARE HARDER TO KIDNAPP

    I always silicone around skirting, never grout right up to it.
