    Default Fast flex prices

    Hi

I will be tiling my kitchen floor which is half floorboards and half t&g and overboarding with 9mm ply

I have been told to use BAL Fastflex which looks like very good stuff, but is a bit expensive

Just two questions, i have been quoted £51 for the 7.5kg bag and liquid, is that the cheapest I am likely to get it at?

The area I need to cover is 16m2 so would I need 4 bags? depending on who you ask the coverage is between 2.5m2 to 5m2!

    Thanks very much

I think for fastflex in a retail environment, that is not too bad. My local Topps sell the stuff at £76 a set!

If you have a trade account, it should be much cheaper.

    Hello Bob

Coverage is around 3m2 so you will need 6 bags....and for the price ...thats pretty cheap for retail..

definately russell mate, its seriously good gear, used a shed load last month, the large format stuff, it sticks like s*** to a blanket

if u can source a local supplier get it, its made by bal and its cheaper too, i wouldnt recommend a crap product,

used to use pci gear spf and was fine but got a few bags to try from a new shop and now use it all the time without any problems

iv been using dunlop for 2 years buying 2=3 pallets a month until a new sales director a my local tile supplier decided to double the price ,i have now gone on to palace and am buying it by the lorry load and will be selling it to the other tilers effected by the ridicolous price hike belies belief why a distriuber would double their prices in a ecconomic down turn

    Thanks for the info

I was quoted that price by a company called tiles uk - out of interest how much would fastflex cost at trade price?

If I need 6 bags at £50 each that's a bit much for my pocket

I have had a look at the Dunlop stuff on the net, they seem to have three possible products

    1 - dunlop 2 part rapidset flex at £38 for 9.3kg

    2 - set fast plus £26 for 20kg

3 - large format and nat stone sdhesive £26 for 20kg

Is the set fast plus product the best for fixing 300 x 600 porcelain tiles onto 9mm ply, at least from the dunlop range?

Any ideas who stocks Dunlop products? as I can only seem to find internet sellers

    Thanks very much
