Howdo everyone, registered ages ago but just been lurking till now.
I've used profix a few times now and it seems good stuff. Has a longer pot life than equivalent topfix and seems to spread a bit nicer too.
I haven't used the white stuff tho and thinking of trying it on my next job. Has anyone else used it? Topfix white goes off way too quick for my liking and it's not that cheap either. Any other alternatives for around 15 quid a bag or less?
I'm based near ashton, manchester way. Denton is my local CTD, also have tile giant and topps local

I've used the flexi quite a bit and always found it went off a bit quick in the bucket, especially in summer. good stuff though, never had any problems.

Yeah ramic, I have an account at tile giant in ashton under lyne. My brother in law user them alot, we've both being using topfix mainly but he's started using mapie from tile giant now as the prices are not far off.
He only does tiling whereas I do a lot more trades, so he gets a better deal and loads of work from them too

better to stick tiles with a dump than profix. All things are made to price and this is someone mking their cheap stuff so they've probably taken out all the good things and left it with just a skidge of glue and some filler to call it a tiling product. i couldn't tile with it let it go off and made it into a garden gnome

You should try it before you knock it. It's actually made by BAL, I doubt very much that poo would be a more effective adhesive, I could be wrong, but I doubt it.
Only had good experiences with it so far and you come across as an idiot saying things like that.
