Default Tile adhesive for Aqua Dec and Ply

    Hi,
I need some advice on what adhesive to use for tiling onto both Ply and an Aqua Dec shower former. The Aqua Dec will be tanked with their own TileSafe tanking. Do I need to prime the ply, if so, what with? I hear PVA is a no no.

I was going to go for BAL Rapidset Flexible, but have been advised that I should use BAL Fast Flex by the local Topps. It's considerably more expensive and is two part which I think will be harder to use for a DIYer such as me

    What'd reckon?

    Cheers,
    Jordan

I'd perhaps consider speaking to Wetdecs wet room supplier, wet room shower tray, tanking. waterproofing from leading wetroom company. who should be able to point you in the right direction there, though I'm sure others will be able to too.

a single part flex adhesive is normally used , you dont need to prime the ply if you use bals flexi , use bals flexi wide joint grout or similar..

Thanks Guys, I've spoken to Wetdecs before about some different advice. I think I should go with the single part. Thanks again.
