    Default correct adh

tiling a friends bathroom tomorrow. using the cheapest adh. he wants to put his house on the market and move asap and just wants it sprucing up a bit. i have bought mapei d1 adh. one of the walls is a bit poo so he is leaving the tiles on. they are smallish ceramic. he has bought smallish ceramic tilesat a guess 10 by 6 ". will it be ok to use this adh to tile on tile. also the other 3 walls have quite a few bits where the plaster has come off. would it be ok to fill the holes with rapid set. a few are a bit deep apparently. i will prime the holes first with apd or bond. which is best? just going for a rubi murray and will check on your advise later. cheers folks and thanks in advance ian

If they are in sound condition....i would use Something like BAL ctf3 with Ad1 admix...follow instructins for mixing.....i don't think many dispersion adhesives are suitable for tiling onto glossy tiles......

Is it on plaster? If so don't do it, remove the original tiles.
Two lots of tile and adhesive too heavy for plaster.

thanks for your help. customer is a friend wall was really bad if taking tiles off (on 1 wall). she told me to put them up and is happy that its not my fault if they come off..... that mapegrip d1 adhesive tubbed. seems really good. excellent grip . all on the wall and no spillages. unlike normal. anyone else use this. does it remain as good once it dries
