Hi . I would like to know the best places to get a trade account for adhesives ect. I've just started up and would appriciate any advise. I will be working around the Locksheath, Titchfield common and the surrounding areas.

Hi mate, i use CTD (ceramic tile distributors) who seem to be good on price and variety of stock. I know Dave (the guru!) uses them and will probably be able to locate your nearest store for you.

CTD. You can get Mapei in CTD too I believe.

Each CTD branch are allowed to stock more than one brand , so you might find one store stocks a product that another doesn't....All sell BAL...Then they will also sell...MAPEI....ARDEX...WEBER..PCI...etc etc.just depends upon store.....

Hello I work for CTD in their contact centre in Coventry.

We do various products, adeshives & grouts by various companies, wedi boards for wet rooms, under floor heating electric mat style and a wide range of tiles (Ceramic & natural stone).

Bear in mind that some CTD branches are very expensive
Especially my local branch in Team Valley!!!!!!!!!!!

Sometimes its best to check out locak independents - i get far better prices from them

when i started out i got trade accounts at ctd, topps, and tile clearing house, never bought much from ctd as they are to far away. always got good prices on mats and tiles from topps and tch, but now i'v also got a account at tile giant and getting really really good prices on mapei products.

I know that you can buy good but cheap adhesive from tile choice, cause i have used it and had no problems, if you click on to this website and sign up as trade you will get an email with the word to use to gain your trade discount, cant remember how much it is off hand but its quite good
