| Re-doing grout joints | | Hi, I have been offered a job today on a 15m2 kitchen floor to remove the grout and re-do in black, some tiles are lifting and need to be re-fixed but most of the floor is good, it's a hell of a job to remove all that grout.
I have seen on this forum something about grout colouring pens, any help welcome.

| Re: Re-doing grout joints | | Arn't the Fein machines good at removing grout and the like, think they are about £160, possibly worth the investment for this and future jobs, know they do a multitude of other things too......everything but make the tea!! | SPEED MEANS NOTHING WITHOUT QUALITY.... |

| Re: Re-doing grout joints | | Thanks lads, Don't really fancy the job but I know the guy and he's ok, I was looking to save me effort and him money, Iv'e got a Fein Multi master, haven't had much use for it so far, carbide blades don't last long though and are expensive, I haven't used them on floor grout, so don't know what they will cost, the diamond blades are about £60.
The tools good but spares are over priced.

| Re: Re-doing grout joints | | Only had mine 3 months but none of the blades are blunt yet and they've had plenty of use.
I know its fairly expensive but its the best piece of kit I have,I end up sorting out loads of problems on site for other trades that don't have a tool like this that sorts out unusual problems. | | |
