I mainly use Nicabond grout (from N&C) which is really nice to use.
BAL is fine. Not used any coloured grouts yet, but would go for Mapei. Have used Ardex but didnt like it.

Hi

Cant remember which one, as it was bought for a site job. It was just white grout for plain white ceramic tiles.
I couldnt get as smooth a finish with it as I could with other grouts I'd used, it seemed to go off pretty quick. I had to keep a careful eye out for gaps and unevenness etc.

I think we're seeing a familiar trend here with BAL getting the majority of the votes so far. I'm not surprised at all to be honest though.

Miss it sounds like Ardex F4 not much good for standard wall tiles but is good on mosaics non-porous tiles with small joints or good to mix with other grouts we used to and i still do sometimes have to mix grouts together depending on what tiles we were using :Pete

Pci-fastrack grey grout for floors and PCI-Aquafug for walls.

AQUAFUG-great, smooth and creamy and easily spread sets in good time too.
only projects they cant be used on are CAR SHOWROOMS chemical resistant, laboratories, limestone slate and marble. The fastrack cant be used in imersed situations such as spa pools.

Aquafug can be used on floors aswell as walls and is basically an excellent product.

Fastrack can also be used for interior and exterior work and is walkable in about 2hours.CANT BE USED ON GLASS MOSAICS.

Has to be Bal everytime. Unless the customes has supplied their own. The as long as it's not the ready mixed stuff i'm happy to use it. Many of my jobs the the grout is always recomended by the manufactor. Then U get no come backs.
