All set ready to go, 1st of 4 bathrooms, marked out levels sorted and I look at my adhesive Larsen fast set tile adhesive which says it is for indoor or outdoor use. It does not mention shower use, I assumed if its for use outdoors then I can use it in showers. Can someone reasure me before I start mixing!!

Walls, will need flexible for floors as I have UFH

Paul it would be ok for showers but for a newb may set a little fast would use a slow set even after 25 years unless you are tilling onto ply ? make sure that the substrate you are tiling onto can hold the weight of the tile & adhesive and prime as recommended by the adhesive manufactures : Pete

Thank you for your help. The fast set was the only adhesive in stock! I have started but only mixed 1/2 bag to ease the pressure. The walls are a mixture of plasterboard and cement render. I primed them all last night. I have tiled before, splashbacks, some kitchens and a few bathrooms but this is the biggest challenge yet. I have completed a tiling course (8 days) in antcipation of ttiling the new house and 200 Sq metres of tiles!!!

Paul fastset costs more than slowset i would keep the fastset for when you next tile a floor and replace it with slowset would take the pressure of you gives you time if you need the change anything even the next day

Hope you are tanking walls this will take any concerns away about water resistance. (I never do bathrooms now with out tanking shower area and round bath area if they dont take it I dont do it)
Also just mix up small batches until you are comfortable with using this adhesive. I find different brands have less working time some can be revived and some cannot.
