Adhesive- have I got enough - colour?

Hi all

I'm laying some creamy/beige 60 x 60 porcelaine tiles on Ditra with Bal Gold Star. Just realised that the adhesive is grey, will this be OK ??? If not ok, what white adhesive could i use please. I'm using Beige Mapei grout. Will a 1 x 20kg bag do 5sq metres on ditra do you think.

Providing they are porcelain you'll be fine. White adhesives are designed for translucent tile, usually marble and the likes.

hi mick..that might be tight ( 20kg bag ) on ditra, there are all the cavities to fill as well......It also depends on what size trowel you are using...and dont forget the ditra is to stick down as well.....

I'd get 2 bags to be on the safe side. If you want white floor adhesive, try BAL Rapidset White - Flexi of course!! - Good stuff
