Default old adhesive

Hi all,

looked at kitchen splashback today 4.5m2 and old tiles have been taken off leaving half decent wall but with some old addy still there would this be ok to tile on using green star the tiles are 15X15mm.

Scrap as much off as you can so theres no lumps and bumps and near enough smooth and in my view it would be fine to tile away.
You might want to prime the walls too after scraping it smooth.
