| Mapei Ultracolor Plus Grout | | I've laid porcelain tiles in my bathroom over the weekend and am looking for a coloured grout. Is Mapei Ultracolor Plus Grout any good? is it 'flexible'?
I've over boarded the floor using 'No more Ply' (great stuff!) laid the tiles using BAL single part flexible adhesive will the Mapei Grout be OK?
Thanks | | |

| good stuff, but so fast setting you can only mix a bit at a time.
I would recommend getting the product sheet on this, tells you to use a slightly abrasive sponge on a handle type thing to clean down.

| personal preference - BAL.
I find the Mapei goes off to quickly and feels sort of "plasticky" to use. Might just be me though!

| I think the Mapei grout is bloody good stuff. I prefer it to BAL any day myself. Although it's easier for me to get BAL. | Dan |

| yea its good stuff allthough the first time i used it i didnt reallise how quickly it set, i almost sh*t myself. I think some colours set quicker than others. the chocolate one goes off really quick, and the beige one gives you a bit longer.
I periodically keep mixing it in the tub with my float and it seems to give me a bit longer.
Keep the stuff moving | | |
