| How do You Finish Grout Lines? | | Just wondering how you all finish off your grout lines on walls. I don't like the little plastic grout finishers as they can tend to dig into the grout and remove too much of it. Up to now I have either used the edge of a sponge or my finger, but what is the best way? I use the sponge from my washboy on floors which leaves a good finish - can this be used on wall tiles too?
Also, what is the best thing to use to seal the grout to help stop it from going brown over time? | | |

| Re: How do You Finish Grout Lines? | | If you use either bal or ardex grout and mix them really well, you should only need your sponge, the secret is catching it just right to sponge off the tiles, just as you start to see it drying out On the tiles, with a fairly dry sponge do a figure of eight over the tiles to clean. then a final clean on the diagonal. if using your sponge from your wash boy, use two one for the floor, and one for the walls. | | |
