Default Favourite silicone.

Just wondered what silicone fellow tilers like to use, as their are soooo many to choose from. As the vary so much, some are lovely to use and some are awful. If there is a thread already started about this?

Mapei would be my 1st choice but i use others too, mainly DGS from local supplier in white, Bal and Dunlop were good too.
Most domestic clients are wanting coloured silicone so Mapei gets used most. Site work is mainly white though.

i have tried lots over the years always found dow corning good to use but the ivory colour is a wierd shade ,the mapei silicone is also great easy to use and a good colour palette
a tip for thosese who intend using silicone near limestone you must use an anti staining silicone as the regular ones bleed into the stone

Mapei if coloured, and Dow Corning for white. mind you evo stick trade sanitary silicone from Grahams is pretty good but i mainly use that for sticking baths and shower trays in.
