Default tiling on Exterior Plywood garden table

Iam attempting to tile a garden table and dont know
Which adhesive to use to fix a border of ceramic tiles and a centre of mosaic tiles.
Substrate marine ply wood fixed surface no traffic 2m x 1.5m

marine ply is a good idea,i would use an external flexible adhesive and grout,your better using a good brand such as bal/mapei as you want it to last in all weather conditions

Could I get away with a 1 part rather than 2 part as they cost a bomb and are a one application only system. - been doing some digging

Don't skimp because of cost on exterior work. Will cost you more to have to do it all again in a year or two. You will not need much in the way of adhesive as you are only doing a small area. A small bag of Mapei Keraquick and latex plus will prob only cost about £30 if you can get it at trade.
