Default setting time for grout

if i use bal rapid set on a floor to put ceramic tiles , knowing it take about 3hrs to set , how long does it take for grout to set

Depends on the grout you use.

Most of Bal's grouts cure in 24hrs at 20C

BAL Microcolour Wide Joint Grout cures though in 5hrs.

allways best to leave it 24 hours before walking on it if you can. Then you know its fully hardened, and you wont have to go back and touch up any bits that may have got damaged. If its a movement floor then definaltly leave it 24 hours.
