could it be the tile has a high suction,maybe the tub stuff was a bit thick,i think its recommended a meter at a time coverage

Think the dust on the back of the tile could be the most logical explanation, didn't think about that at the time but hey ho, i'll plod on and get the job done. It won't be left until it's done properly.
