How long do you leave the lid off tubbed adhesive when your using it, do you get a load on the walls then put the lid back on...or do you leave it off for a few hours? I try to keep it on but i have seen tilers take lid off a 8am and put it back on four or five hours later. Does this affect it?

Take the lid off and if i expect to use it all i throw the lid away. Open all day and no probs.

Just keep giving it a quick mix every now and again and it will be fine.....

Depends on what job your doing really as I can get through 3 tubbs in a day if it's easy tiling, but if it's a fiddly job where it's gonna take a day to use half a tub then it's lid off for the day and maybe a quick mix every couple of hours or so.

Im the same,mix it when i open it and periodically mix it during the day as a matter of course.
