Default Filling with Rapidset

Hey all,

How deep a hole can you fill with rapidset, doing a kitchen and the plaster board is coming off in places back to the block where it was dabbed onto.

Cheers,

Nick

Hi mate, best to cut in a new bit of plasterboard IMO. Should say on the bag but rapidset i think should really only be for a few mm deviation/hole.

Cheers Turkish,

Was trying to get a quick fix to it but as i got further round i found that theres quite a lot of the plasterboard adhesive that hasn't taken when it was first put up so going to be cutting out a few bits and replacing

You could fill holes with one coat plaster as another option

Cut the damaged sections out and patch using plasterboard and use plasterboard adhesive to stick the sections in as it dries faster than rapidset......
