Unhappy Grout Colour?

I am retiling a bathroom next weekend and the customer has bought 250mm x 400mm ceramic wall tiles that have quiet a high shine on them, I am also fitting a glass border (black and grey)

I am supplying the adhesive and grout, i am using White star for the adhesive and I still need to get the grout. I normally advise people to stick away from white grout in a bathroom due to possible discolouration but on this occasion i'm concerned an ivory will be darker than the tiles and make the grout look dirty. What is the best course of action?

I have a similar problem on the floor, the tiles are of matching style and I think if I use white grout on the floor it may end up looking shabby in a few months. Whould I get away with using white on the walls and grey on the floors?

Thanks for any advice

Default Re: Grout Colour?

Big tiles for using a dispersion adhesive CJ. Powder would probably be better imo. If you want a light coloured grout that is not white an pretty water resistant have a look at Mapei Ultracolor Plus silver grey. i used it on a Carrera Marble floor and it looks really good
