| Re: Adhesive query for large format tiles | | chromium vi is a by product of many industrial processes ,the inhibitors referred to are binders that bind to the chromium vi to stop its harmful effects these binders loose their effectiveness over time hence dates on adhesive bags never use out of date adhesives.so eu directives were passed to enforce adhesive manufactures to limit the amounts of chromium vi in their products so they are at a safe level | | |

| Re: Adhesive query for large format tiles | | I was told on my course at PTS any powder adhesive made abroad didn't have an inhibitor in for chronium 6. where as any powder made in the uk does have an inhibitor in to get to British standards and that if you did use an adhesive imported from italy that there is a chance of cement burns. Could you find out if this is true? | | |
